Greetings,
Sometimes you just need a breakthrough! Whether it’s spiritual, financial, health, marriage, or your kids, sometimes you just need God to show up and do what only He can do! Could this be one of those times for you?
The writer of this psalm felt that way, too! In Psalm 144:5 (TPT), he wrote, “Step down from heaven, Lord, and come down! Make the mountains melt at your touch. Loose your fiery lightning flashes and scatter your enemies. Overthrow them with your terrifying judgments. Reach down from your heavens and rescue me from this hell, and deliver me from these dark powers.”
One thing is sure: prayer works! It’s not only a deposit in your heavenly bank account that will ensure a breakthrough when the time is right, it also gives you the strength to carry on UNTIL the breakthrough comes!
So, we will also declare: “Step down, Lord! Overthrow the enemy’s forces of darkness. Rescue Your people, this nation, and our world from the dark powers of destruction! Thank You for hearing us today. In Jesus’ Name!
