Greetings,
There’s no doubt about it—before this COVID-19 crisis, the passion of many believers had waned and they had become lukewarm. The average Christian was attending church only 1.7 times a month … and slipping. On average, Christians have only been giving 2.5% of their income to God, rather than the tithe. Only 32% of Christians bothered to read their Bibles every day.
A recent survey also revealed that among U.S. pastors, only 51% believe in the moral teachings of the Bible. In fact, a group of pastors recently wrote a letter to the governor of their state—not to protest abortions, but urging him to allow abortions to be performed after a fetal heartbeat had been detected. And all this happened at a time when surgical procedures detecting cancer had been postponed so that COVID-19 patients could be treated.
America and Western nations have walked away from the covering of God’s grace and protection. No wonder we have been struck with the devastating grip of this pandemic. Along with the Psalmist, we must ask, “Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?” Psalm 85:6.
Today, I’m worshiping with Bethel and “God of Revival.” https://youtu.be/VFWF9rSAWF8
Remember to stay inside as much as possible, wash your hands often with soap, don’t touch your face, and practice social-distancing.
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
