Greetings,
Today, I’m worshiping with Sipho Ngwenya and “Ebenezer.”

I love this song and its beautiful harmony, for which Gospel music in South Africa is noted. But, let me explain that they often use the “call and response” style of music. The words of this exuberant song come from:
1 Samuel 7:12 (NKJV) – “Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”
The translation is: “Ebenezer, you have been with us thus far. We thank you, you have been with us thus far.” Do you have any Ebenezer memorials in your life that remind you of God’s help? I do. And if you’ll think about it, I’m sure you have some, too!
Since today is Missions’ Sunday, may this song be a blessing to you. During this terrible pandemic, the funds for our missionaries have almost completely dried up. So, as we pray, let us also remember to include a sacrificial offering to bless them.
Remember to stay inside as much as possible, wash your hands often with soap, don’t touch your face, and practice social-distancing.
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
Pastor
