Devotional: Day 50

Greetings,

Have the odds ever seemed to be stacked against you? At times, does it seem there’s no way possible for you to succeed? While David was being pursued by Saul and his mighty army, David never forgot who his Protector was.

When the Ziphites betrayed David by reporting his hiding place to King Saul, the King feverishly sought to kill him. There seemed to be no way for him to survive—but he did! Notice what David wrote: Psalm 54:4 (NKJV) – “Behold, God is my helper.”

Since God cannot fail—and He’s on your side—how would it be possible for you to fail? With God’s help, David not only continued to elude Saul, he was able to thrive while feeling the pressure of adversity. During that period of time, he just kept drawing closer to God … and so can you! Don’t let your troubles get you down.

People may betray you, talk about you, and try to hold you back, but we read in Romans 8:37 (NKJV) – “Yet in all these things we are MORE than conquerors through Him who loved us.” When you’re in Christ, adversity cannot stop you. It will only promote you! Just think of all He has already brought you through!

Today, I’m worshiping with Marvin Sapp and “Never Would Have Made It.”

Now that we are permitted to move around, continue to wash your hands often with soap, don’t touch your face, and practice social-distancing.

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
