Greetings,
What does it mean to abide in Christ? That’s an important question! One of the enormous benefits of abiding in Him is that He will grant our desires when we pray.
John 15:7 (NKJV) – “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
However, just because we’re Christians, He hasn’t given us a blank check to ask for anything our selfish hearts may desire. To abide in Christ means that our wants and desires become like His. We must be devoted to putting first, what matters most to Him.
Dear Jesus, instill in my heart the things that matter most to You. Let me hunger for what You hunger for and pray that Your desires will be accomplished in our world.
