Greetings,
Drawing near to God definitely has its benefits! Trusting in God will never be a disappointment. You will most definitely have an opportunity to share with others what God has done for you.
The psalmist said in Psalm 73:28 (NKJV), “But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may DECLARE YOUR WORKS.”
So, when you put your trust in Him, you’ll definitely have “works” that will reveal what He has done for you.
But how do you draw near to God? Building a personal altar always begins with trust. Then it will shift to thirst, and then to pursuit.
“Trust” is choosing to rely upon God and His promises. If you will be committed to that decision, He will never disappoint you.
To “thirst” after God can be compared to a deer ‘panting for a water brook.’ Your soul begins to desire more and more of Him.
Finally, you must “pursue” Him with your whole heart. A great prayer life flows from a worshipful heart. He will always be found by those who seek Him.
Today, I’m worshiping with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “Pray.” https://youtu.be/Q9W0-dAQCDQ
Now that we are permitted to move around, let’s not forget to wash our hands often with soap, don’t touch your face, and practice social-distancing
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
