Greetings,
Isn’t it strange how we stand in awe of those who have gained impressive titles, fame, and fortune? We are so amazed by their illusionary accomplishments that will soon fade away. But, Apostle Paul chose not to make that mistake.
2 Corinthians 5:16 (NKJV) – “Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.”
Those who seek to impress others add very little value to our world. Yet, a dedicated doctor, nurse, teacher, fireman or police officer can do more good than a dozen ‘so-called’ celebrities who seek fame and fortune. A movie actor or actress may receive a higher salary for a single movie than an ‘essential worker’ is paid in a lifetime. Sadly, people idolize the actors and ignore those who are so deserving.
Why should we talk about this? Honoring those who are worthy makes our society operate smoothly. But the One who should receive the highest honor and praise is our Lord. Think of what He does for us, each and every day of our lives!
Thank You, Lord, for being so good to me. I praise You!
Today. I’m worshiping with Steffany Gretzinger & Jeremy Riddle and “All Is for Your Glory.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
