Greetings,
True humility will never cause you to feel worthless or despise who you are. To the contrary, the King of kings has declared that you are worth everything to Him!
Humility will accept what God has said about you as the truth. Now, let’s see what He really thinks about you:
Revelation 1:6 (NKJV) – “…and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
God’s Word has declared that you are both a king and a priest! Apostle Peter added that you are “a member of a royal priesthood.” But what does that mean? A “priest” refers to the vertical aspect of our lives. We minister to God with our worship, our lives, our time, and resources. When the Queen of Sheba saw how Solomon ministered to God, she was so moved, it took her breath away; she actually fainted!
For a king to rule and reign, he must be given great authority and resources. This proves that God never intended for you to be crushed by life’s problems or to struggle, or barely get by.
My Father, when others see my devotion to You and Your blessings upon my life, I pray that they would desire to know the God who blesses His people!
