Devotional: Day 64

Greetings,

In the middle of this pandemic, why don’t we just stop and give thanks to God for sparing our lives and those we love? When we express our gratitude for His acts of mercy, He always responds with loving kindness:

Psalm 56:12-13 (NKJV) – “…O God; I will render praises to You, [13] For You have delivered my soul from death. Have You not kept my feet from falling, That I may walk before God In the light of the living?”

We never know how many times the mercy and favor of the Lord has spared our lives. When we get to Heaven, I’m sure we’ll be shocked to know the countless times He has kept us from accidents and tragic situations.

It could have been a flat tire we deeply resented for making us late, or the times He slowed us down to keep us from suffering harm or even death that awaited us just down the road.

That’s what happened to Balaam. He was stunned when God opened his eyes to see how he had been protected!

Thank you Lord, for protecting me and my children, grandchildren and my great-grandchildren during this pandemic. I praise You for continuing to protect us.

Today, I’m worshiping with Big Daddy Weave and “The Only Name.”

Don’t forget to wash your hands often and practice social-distancing.

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
