Greetings,
Religion teaches you to feel shame for your imperfections. Quite the opposite, the world says you can do whatever you want and no one should care. But what does God’s Word tell us?
Romans 8:1 (NKJV) – “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
What a different message than the teaching of religion or the world. Scripture assures that if we live according to the Spirit and the principles of God’s Word, we will not walk according to the flesh.
But it also teaches that if our lives are in Christ, we can be free from shame. Yes, we may experience guilt when we’ve done wrong, but that can easily be removed if we’ll turn to the Father—not away from Him. Instead of condemning us, God loves and accepts us.
God, I thank You today for setting me free from condemnation and removing the shame I once carried. I am free because of Your great love for me—and I thank You.
Today, I’m worshiping with Anaysha Cooper and “Let Praises Rise.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
