Greetings,
It’s a sad fact that most believers in this country are strangling in debt. They have bought so heavily into the American consumer concept, they have not only mortgaged their own future, but their children’s as well. God never intended for us to be enslaved by the wealthy!
Proverbs 22:7 (NKJV) – “The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender.”
So, what is the solution? We can’t expect those to whom we are enslaved to feel sympathy for us or let us off the hook. No, we must stop spending so freely and learn how to get out of debt. Think how much better your life would be if you were debt-free!
Dear Lord, I’m asking You to deliver me from the bondage of debt. Would You break the old paradigms of poverty and financial bondage and the way I’ve been thinking. Help me educate myself with sound financial principles so I can be truly free!
