Greetings,
God gets angry, but His anger only lasts for a moment. On the other hand, His favor lasts for a lifetime!
Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) – “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.”
How precious it is for God’s favor to rest upon us as long as we live—and then to rest upon our children and grandchildren! That’s what happened to Abraham and David!
Lord, I pray that Your favor will remain upon me all of my days, and then upon my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren for as long as they live. Your favor causes things to happen that our time, effort, and right connections could never achieve.
Help me to be so pleasing to You that my lifetime will never be long enough to experience all the great things You have chosen for me and my offspring. I love You, Lord!
