Devotional: Day 690

Greetings,

When we humble ourselves and pray, God often reverses the terrible effects of the problems we’ve brought upon ourselves.

2 Chronicles 33:12-13 (NKJV) – “Now when he was in affliction, he implored the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, [13] and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God.”

After King Manasseh had sinned and was taken into captivity, he began to realize how many mistakes he had made and turned to God. When he humbled himself, God reversed his captivity and allowed him to go back to Jerusalem. Why would He do this? It’s because the God we serve is so good!

Lord, I thank You for reversing the bad decisions I’ve made when I failed to honor You or Your Word. The best choices I’ve ever made were when I was listening to Your voice and obeying the teachings of the Bible!

Today, I’m worshiping with Darrel Walls and “I Will Exalt You.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
