Greetings,
Our God is SO GOOD! Many of the deities people have worshiped were actually cruel and mean. Their gods (little “g”) had to be appeased with human sacrifices and death. Our God alone is known for loving His people. The concept that Jesus would actually die for us was unheard of among their so-called supreme beings; but it is true!
Romans 5:6-8 (NKJV) – “For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. [7] For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. [8] But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Did you get that? While we were YET sinners … not when we sought or loved Him … He loved us. Child of God, you are loved and cherished by our Father!
