Greetings,
Read with me in Luke 22:31-32 (NKJV) – “And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. [32] But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
Have you ever noticed how stress and challenges can either draw people closer together in a relationship or drive them farther apart? The enemy is always trying to weaken our faith and separate us from God’s love with difficult situations. Long ago I decided to let my problems draw me closer to God rather than reducing my devotion for Him. This is the time to “lean in” toward God, rather than “away” from Him.
Father God, hold me fast. I thank you for never letting me go. Help me to lean into You even more when challenges come my direction. I always find the strength I need in You!
Today, I’m worshiping with FBCG and “I Surely Love the Lord.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
Pastor
