Greetings,
Every part of the Word of God applies to each of us. But have you noticed how God makes certain passages come alive? That’s because He knows all about you and exactly where you are on your journey.
Psalm 139:1 (NKJV): “O LORD, You have searched me and known me,”
Psalm 139:16 (NKJV): “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”
God knows your name and everything that’s happening in your life. Our Heavenly Father also knows precisely what you need at any given moment. When you open His Word while in prayer, He will illuminate certain words and speak a message you need to hear at that very moment.
That’s what happened to the two disciples who were walking with Jesus on the road to Emmaus. Luke 24:32 (NKJV) says, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
Dear God, open Your Word to us today. Speak to our hearts as You did to those disciples. Give us this day, “our daily bread.” Lead us today by the Light of Your Word.
Today, I’m worshiping with Riddle and Gretzinger and “You Have Won Me.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
