Greetings,
All of the Word of God applies to each of us. But have you noticed how God makes certain passages come alive? That’s because He knows all about you and exactly where you are on a particular journey.
Notice Psalm 139:1 (NKJV): “O LORD, You have searched me and known me,” and Psalm 139:16 (NKJV): “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”
God knows your name and everything that’s happening to you. Our Heavenly Father also knows precisely what you need at any given moment in your life. When you open His Word while in prayer, He will illuminate certain words and speak a message that you need that very moment.
That’s what happened to the two disciples who were walking with Jesus on the road to Emmaus. Luke 24:32 (NKJV) says, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
God, open Your Word to us today. Speak to our hearts as You did to those disciples. Give us this day “our daily bread.”
Today, I’m worshiping with Riddle and Gretzinger and “You Have Won Me.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
