Devotional: Day 759

Greetings,

Many of us grew up with low self-esteem. We thought we were too short, too tall, too fat or too skinny, not beautiful enough—or anything but handsome. If we go through childhood without realizing how valuable we are, every time we encounter a difficult situation, we’ll revert back to a deep or painful emotion, such as: fear, anger, resentment, or feeling unworthy.

These same emotions are causing a lot of people to feel overwhelmed right now. Because of what they are facing, they feel that our Heavenly Father must not love them. That’s how Gideon must have felt in Judges 6:13 (NKJV), when he said, “O my Lord, IF the LORD is with us, WHY then has all this happened to us?”

One of the most liberating revelations of my life was when I realized that God’s love does not depend upon who we are, but who He is! I want you to listen to the story behind this amazing song and let it bless you!

My God, You are faithful! You will never give up on me. Thank You for walking with me each day. Even when I feel alone, I am not by myself. You are with me. You believe in me and I am grateful. By Your grace, I am becoming a little more like You each day. Thank You!

Today, I’m worshiping with Big Daddy Weave and “Redeemed.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
