Devotional: Day 771

Greetings,

Psalm 46:1-2 (NKJV) declares, “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. [2] Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.”

Did you see that? God is very PRESENT in times of trouble. When darkness surrounds us, we often struggle to believe God is with us. The reason we can’t see Him is because it’s difficult to see when it’s dark.

But God doesn’t have a problem with His vision. In fact, some of His best work is done in the darkness. King Hezekiah went to bed one night really worried about a huge army that had surrounded Judah. So, he decided to pray. That night, God walked into the enemy’s camp and killed 185,000 warriors.  When the sun came up the next morning, they were all dead.

Daniel spent the night in a lion’s den; but in the darkness of that night, God worked for him by closing the mouths of the lions!

Your Presence is always with me, even when I don’t sense You near, You are still with me. Thank You for never walking away, never abandoning me or turning You back on me.

Today, I’m worshiping with Gateway and “We Bow Low.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
