Greetings,
Psalm 46:1-2 (NKJV) declares, “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. [2] Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.”
Did you see that? God is very PRESENT in times of trouble. When darkness surrounds us, we may struggle to believe that God is still with us. The reason is because we can’t see well in the darkness. But God doesn’t have a problem with His vision, even in the night. In fact, some of His best work has been accomplished in the darkness.
King Hezekiah went to bed one night, really worried about a huge army that had surrounded Judah. So, he decided to pray. That night, God walked into the enemy’s camp and killed 185,000 warriors. When the sun came up the next morning, the enemy soldiers were all dead.
Daniel spent the night in a lion’s den; but in the darkness of that night, God worked for him by closing the mouth of every lion.
Dear Father, through the Word of God, You are a lamp to my feet and a light that brightens my way. Even when I cannot see, You take me by the hand and lead me. Thank You for making a way for me even in the “night!”
Today, I’m worshiping with Gateway and “We Bow Low.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
