Greetings,
We are praying for God to solve the catastrophic problems that face our world. We are asking Him to not only eradicate war and disease, but for our economy to grow again and for His people to be blessed with jobs, finances, and the necessities of life. The truth is that if man would seek God, He would act on our behalf.
In Solomon’s prayer concerning what would happen if Israel should forsake God, the Lord’s reply is recorded in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) – “IF My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Some have called the word “IF,” in God’s reply, the world’s greatest possibility. He will always stand ready to help–IF the people of our nation will humble themselves, pray and turn back to Him from their wicked ways.
Lord, we want to be among those who seek Your face. Our land needs healing and our world needs Your help. Act now to show Your great strength and power. The world needs You. We all do!
