Devotional: Day 791

Greetings,

Did you know that the Book of Job is actually the oldest book in the Bible? The story of Job’s suffering is universal in its application. We have all lived some parts of his story. Clearly, Job needed a breakthrough while under fierce attack by his enemy. At times, we do, too!

Breakthroughs come in many different forms, shapes and sizes. It can be the result of prayer and fasting, worship, giving, or just being faithful and committed. Sometimes you may have to keep “walking it out” until God shows up. Notice what Job said:

Job 23:8-10 (NKJV) – “Look, I go forward, but He is not there, And backward, but I cannot perceive Him; [9] When He works on the left hand, I cannot behold Him; When He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him. [10] But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.”

Job declared that his breakthrough was coming because he was fully committed to finishing the course.

“Father, help us to keep walking out our faith, even when it’s not easy. We declare that breakthrough is coming as it did for Job! You did not fail him and neither will You fail us”

Today, I’m worshiping with Red Rocks Worship and “Breakthrough.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
