Greetings,
Have you ever considered what could have been the biggest accomplishment of your life? Was it your education or a successful career? Getting married? Raising your children? Building a business?
I don’t have to think twice to know my answer. Right at the top of my list was that decision I made many years ago to marry a very special woman. That was one of the best moves I’ve ever made! But there’s something else for which I am even more grateful. It’s when I fell in love with Jesus! What’s so amazing is that He kept seeking after me until I said, “Yes.”
In spite of my failures, He never stopped seeking after me. At first, I tried to earn His love, but that didn’t work. Then I tried to be good enough to merit His favor, but that didn’t succeed either. It’s when I accepted the fact that Jesus loved me enough to give His life for me that I really fell in love with Him. That was the best thing I’ve ever done!
Thank You for loving me, my Savior. Thank You for paying the price for my salvation. You wooed my heart until I said yes. How could I not after all You have done for me. The best thing I ever did was to fall in love with You, my Jesus.
