Greetings,
In times of great concern and uncertainty, is it even rational for a believer to have no fear? Is it wise to refuse to cower before our enemy or suffer a panic attack like the world? Some would argue that it is foolhardy not to be afraid. Listen to what God has to say:
Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV) – “FEAR NOT, for I am with you; BE NOT DISMAYED, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Under ordinary circumstances, frightful situations should provoke fear in the heart of a believer. However, God reminds us that He is with us, He will help us, and He will uphold us. So, why should we live in fear?
Father God, today I thank You for being my strength in times of adversity and my Source in time of need. Because You are with me, no matter what I face, I know I will prevail—and for this I give You praise!
