Devotional: Day 809

Greetings,

King Sennacherib sent a threatening letter to Hezekiah, king of Judah. Have you ever felt as though the enemy was sending you a ‘warning letter’? He loves to frighten us so that we will submit to his plans to destroy our faith. But notice what Hezekiah did with his letter from the enemy:

Isaiah 37:14-15, 17 (NKJV) – “And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. [15] Then Hezekiah prayed to the LORD, saying: … [17] Incline Your ear, O LORD, and hear; open Your eyes, O LORD, and see; and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God.”

Take those feelings of fear and doubt to God. As Hezekiah did, lay them before the Lord in prayer and let Him fix it for you!

Dear Heavenly Father, today I bring everything I am, ever will be and all I face and lay it before You. I trust You with my future. You are good and You will work all things to my benefit. Thank You for being who You are!

Today, I’m worshiping with Josh Sherman and “I Am Not Alone.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
