Greetings,
If you could develop a cure for cancer, humanity would line up at your door and pay whatever price you demanded. Along with the fame and fortune, you would be hailed as a hero by world leaders and a place reserved for you in history. Even if the “cure” you had developed only worked half of the time, you would be honored with medals and speeches of tribute.
Beloved, we know the One who has done far more for humanity than finding a cure for a dangerous disease. In fact, His cure for the deadly contagion to which I’m referring works 100% of the time—not just for half of those who use it. To whom am I referring? Why, our Savior, of course, and His cure for sin! The Bible says:
1 John 1:7 (NKJV) – “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from ALL sin.”
Thank You, Father, for solving our sin problem. Thank You for the antidote in the blood of Jesus—and for saving me!
