Greetings,
Have you ever thought about the terrible price Jesus paid to save you? The cost was—His life! What love He has shown, that He would die in our place, even before we knew Him! But more wonderful is the fact that He loved us when we had no desire to know Him!
As the old song goes, “There is a fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel’s veins; and sinners,plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains.”
Zechariah 13:1 (NKJV) – “In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.”
Father, I thank You for the fountain of blood that was opened when Jesus’ side was pierced, that has forgiven, washed, and cleansed me from all my sins. Oh, what a Savior You are!
