Devotional: Day 874

Greetings,

Have you ever noticed how many of God’s blessings are connected with “His House?” David called it the “fullness” of God’s House, where we can drink from the river of God’s pleasures.

Psalm 36:7-8 (NKJV) – “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. [8] They are abundantly satisfied with thefullness of your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.”

The enemy clearly does not want us to be satisfied in living for God. He constantly tries to create an emptiness in our lives so that he can entice us to fill it with other things. That’s why he sends stress, opposition, sickness and disease as attacks from hell against God’s people and the human race.

But guess what? He can never rob us of our fellowship with God. Even when trouble rises against us, we won’t allow that to keep us from worshiping our Lord, will we?

Father, I want to be satisfied with the fullness of Your house. Nothing else satisfies as You do. You alone can fill the emptiness we all experience in our hearts.

Today, I’m worshiping with Morgan Faleolo and “Touch of Heaven.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
