Devotional: Day 88

Greetings,

It’s impossible to overemphasize the influence or importance of a family altar upon your family’s future. If parents truly know Christ and are intimately acquainted with His love and beauty, they have no greater desire than for their children to personally know Him as they do. The best way to ensure that this happens is to introduce them to the Lord at a very young age. Listen to Paul’s advice to Timothy:

2 Timothy 1:3-5 (NKJV) – “I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, [4] greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, [5] when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt FIRST in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.”

Lois successfully passed her faith to Eunice, and then she successfully imparted that same faith to her son, Timothy. One of the best ways to do this is with a family altar.

Today, I’m worshiping with Bethel and “Touch of Heaven.”

Remember to wash your hands often with soap and practice social distancing.

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
