Devotional: Day 900

Greetings,

Things don’t always turn out the way we had intended. But does that mean that God didn’t hear us when we prayed? Does it mean that He doesn’t care? No, of course not. He always loves us and wants what is best for us.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; [6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

The problem is that we really don’t know what is best for us. Even when we’re experiencing pain, our light affliction is accomplishing something far greater than we had imagined. We may have to be broken to experience a greater measure of His glory.

Lord Jesus, I want to know You, not only in the power of Your resurrection, but also in the fellowship of Your sufferings. Even in my brokenness, I will trust You.

Today, I’m worshiping with Matt Redman and Tasha Cobbs Leonard and “Gracefully Broken.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
