Greetings,
Today, let’s examine ourselves. You know what I mean? Let’s work on our hearts, our attitudes, and our thoughts.
Until recently it had been quite a while since some of our members could attend the House of God and we understand their reasons for remaining at home. Even though we have online streaming—which has been such a blessing, with kids, work and other responsibilities all demanding attention, streaming can be more like a decaffeinated version of church than the real thing. Right?
Things can begin to creep into our hearts. Wrong desires, negative thoughts and bad attitudes can prevail if they aren’t challenged by the Presence of our Mighty God.
2 Peter 3:14 (NKJV) – “Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;”
In our time of personal devotion, let’s work on correcting our attitudes and desires that are not Christ-like.
Father, help me to always keep You in my heart and mind. I want to be more like You. I want to abide in Your Presence always. I need You.
Today, I’m worshiping with Shirley Caesar and the old song, “I’ve Got a Long Way to Go.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
Pastor
