Greetings,
Have you ever noticed the connection between the Presence of God and prosperity?
Psalm 132:13-16 (NKJV) – “For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: [14] “This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. [15] I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread. [16] I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her saints shall shout aloud for joy.”
Wherever God’s Presence is enthroned, poverty will soon be banished. When we seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, all the other things we desire will become a bonus. But if we seek other things first—instead of God’s Presence, life becomes a daily struggle. When we do not exalt Him, we must deal with unrighteousness, crime, and the terrible byproducts of poverty.
Lord, choose to dwell among us. Abide with us! The world has experienced enough pain, disease, need and disappointment. Show us what we could experience if You lived in our midst. Show our leaders what could happen if humanity would only put You first.
