Greetings,
A simple encounter with God in worship can change your life!
Proverbs 16:6 (NKJV) – “In mercy and truth Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.”
The Bible says that the ‘fear’ of the Lord causes us to depart from evil. What does that mean? This type of fear refers to reverence for God, or to be in ‘awe’ of God.
In Isaiah, chapter 6, the prophet’s life was transformed when he saw the Lord, high and lifted up. Apparently, Isaiah’s speech had been unclean because this encounter with God transformed his lips! Can you imagine what would happen if each of us had such a personal encounter with God?
Father, we desire to know You and lift You so high, You will be enthroned in our praise as we worship You with all of our hearts! Grant us an encounter with Your Spirit that will change us and cause us to live the rest of our lives in awe of You.
