Greetings,
Do you ever pray for God to make you worthy of the calling He has placed upon your life? Paul prayed for that, and I believe we should, too.
2 Thessalonians 1:11 (NKJV) – “Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power.”
As believers, the incredible gift of our calling should never be taken nonchalantly. Think of the many people you know who have not yet surrendered to their personal calling from God. Yet, you and I have chosen to answer that call. We responded because He gave us the grace to say, “Yes.” Now that we have accepted His call, we must endeavor to be worthy of His grace and love.
Dear Lord, thank You for helping me to say, “Yes” when You extended the call of salvation to my heart. I owe You everything! I want my life to be worthy of Your love and grace every day.
