Sometimes, you just need to come to God’s House! There is something about corporate worship that cannot be experienced in our private devotions.
The enemy knows this. That’s one reason I have concluded that the virus we have just experienced was clearly an attack against the church. Satan wanted to weaken us spiritually, because he knows that a weak church is no threat to him.
David once traveled through a spiritual desert when he couldn’t find what his soul longed for. I’ve been there, haven’t you? To claim the breakthrough he desperately needed, David decided it was time to visit the sanctuary of God’s House.
Psalm 63:1-2 (NKJV) – “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. [2] So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.”
Father, I thank you that every time I go to Your house, my soul is blessed and I am uplifted. I want to see more of Your power and glory.
