Devotional: Day 946

Greetings,

When other believers observe our lives, does the example we have set encourage them to become more committed to Christ? In case you have not considered this before, remember that someone is always watching you!

2 Corinthians 9:1-2 (NKJV) – “Now concerning the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you; [2] for I know your willingness, about which I boast of you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal has stirred up the majority.“

The very fact that a few fervent believers can stir up a majority to become more devoted to God is quite amazing! Revival never begins with the masses; it always begins with a faithful few. That’s what happened to the church at Corinth. The devotion of a few affected the majority!

Father, I pray that my example will inspire others to accomplish more and be more devoted to You, rather than becoming less passionate. I pray that my faithfulness, my devotional life, my worship, my witness and my giving may cause other believers to be more committed to trust in You.

Today, I’m worshiping with Micah Stampley and “Holiness.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!

Pastor
