Greetings,
Someday, very soon, Christ is coming to take His beloved Church away, so we can ever be with Him. No one knows the exact day or hour, but the Bible gives us many warning signs that will precede His coming.
Every generation has seen some of the signs fulfilled that Jesus spoke about; but our generation is experiencing EVERY sign. Today’s news headlines are like reading from Matthew, chapter 24, or Luke, chapter 21. We must live so close to our Lord that we will be ready and waiting for His return.
His coming is not something a child of God should fear, because Christ longs for us to be with Him. It should be both comforting and encouraging to know that we will soon be united with Him. We see a picture of this in scripture:
Song of Songs 2:10-11 (NKJV) – “My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away. [11] For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone.”
I long to see You, my Lord. I long to be with You forever. Thank You for hope that I have beyond this life!
