Devotional: Day 952

Greetings,

Having a good name can open some wonderful doors of opportunity. People want to connect and partner with someone who has a good reputation. That is true not only in business, but in friendships, ministry–and even romance. A person’s character is determined by how well they protect their name.

Proverbs 22:1 (NKJV) – “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold.”

When people believe and trust in you it is better than having a huge bank account. And if the favor of people is greatly to be desired, think how much more valuable it is to have God’s loving favor! When He sees how diligently we seek to protect our name—which will also preserve His Name, I’m sure it must bring a smile to His face! And that can change everything!

Dear Lord, may Your grace, wisdom and strength ever be with me. I want to bring honor to Your great Name by keeping my own name as free from dishonor as I possibly can. Help me make wise decisions that will reflect Your wisdom and the leading of Your Holy Spirit.

Today, I’m worshiping with Donald Lawrence and “It’s Your Time.”

We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
