Greetings,
In this fractured and divided age, have you ever felt as if those around you were angry, critical, or filled with hate? Does it seem they are looking for something to use against you? The author of the following psalm understood those feelings:
Psalm 57:4 (NKJV) – “My soul is among lions; I lie among the sons of men Who are set on fire, Whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.”
While the times in which we live may seem unusual, they are not new at all. Even back when this psalm was written, people were critical, hostile and searching for ways to harm others. David, the author of Psalm 57, was fleeing from Saul, who was doing his best to kill him. But if God protected David, why wouldn’t He do the same for you?
Thank You, Lord, for protecting and keeping us safe. I’m asking You to heal the many divisions in our world and speak to those who would love to harm Your people. May we stand strong for You.
Today, I’m worshiping with Clint Brown and “Lord, I Praise You.”
We love you and are praying for you. Be INSPIRED!
