Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. [38] Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Prayer: Lord, this is the only prayer request the scripture records you ever having made. The need is so great. There are 7 1/2 BILLION people in the world. Many of them do not know You. Many of them have never even heard the name of Jesus. But how can they know without someone to tell them?
Raise up laborers who will reap this great harvest for Your glory. Raise up those who will give their lives and hearts to You so completely they will live for Your great cause of Evangelism. Raise up pastors, assistant pastors, helpers, ministry leaders, missionaries, worship leaders, musicians, teachers, and Lord, raise up givers. Cause Your people to become as committed as we should be, so we will find Your Great Commission and send missionaries, build churches and help the poor and hurting.
