Greetings,
Today is Good Friday, the day our Lord was crucified. It is a day to pause and reflect upon how much God loves us, and the extraordinary lengths to which He went to save us. As the old song goes, “On a hill far away, stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame.” It is because of His suffering, shame and death that we stand forgiven and cleansed.
What happened on this day 2,000 years ago is also why we have hope, both in this life and the next. That hope was vividly demonstrated last Sunday night in the Holy Spirit Worship Encounter. The aunt of Lemisha Ducos, was watching the service from Mississippi. Lemisha and Eddie serve on our Youth Pastor team. The two month old grandchild of Lemisha’s aunt had been born unable to move his arm. While the Presence of God was moving during the service, the baby began to move his arm for the first time! This is the video she sent. God is AMAZING! Incredible things happen when you worship!
Come celebrate the Lord’s Resurrection with us. To alleviate overflow and make sure you and your family are safe, we will have Easter worship on Saturday at 6:00 pm, Sunday at 9:00 and 11:00 am, and en Espanol at 6:00 am and 2:15 pm. Come Saturday. I will be preaching then as well.
Please remember to observe the health precautions just a little longer.
We love you. Happy Good Friday!
Pastor
