Greetings,
God has been moving in America and the world. What He is doing at Inspire is extraordinary! Could that be because for the last several years more people have been praying? Catastrophic illness, war, a broken economy, geo-political upheaval, and the uncertainty of our times have had a devastating effect on our world. It has made us more aware of our need for God. People began to pray.
When Solomon prayed at the dedication of the temple concerning what would happen if Israel should forsake the Lord, this is how God responded to him:
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) – “IF My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Some have called the word “IF,” in God’s reply to Solomon, the world’s greatest possibility. He always stands ready to help us— IF we the people of this nation will humble ourselves and pray, and turn from our wicked ways to Him. Let’s acknowledge our need of God and seek Him.
Our Mighty God, we need You! More than words can possibly express, we need You. We must have Your help or this world will suffer even worse things than what we have already experienced. We repent for ever thinking that we could possibly live without Your assistance. In You we live, move and have our being. Be with us! Guide our decisions and help us to live by the principles of Your Word, for in them we find life.
